Does anybody have any opinions on which gas racks are the best(durability, appearance)? I ride a 2009 Yamaha MTX 153.

If you ride a yamaha check CR Racing. He makes a killer gas rack for your sled.
My 2008 Apex MTX has hooks for bungy cords, doesn't anybody just use those hooks and strap one down? Then drop it once you start to have fun?
Fuel Cans
Mountain addiction hands downs the best for any sled available in many colors including Yamaha Blue or Bright pink for your wifes sled.

I am mounting a 09 skidoo XP jerry can on mine (like the looks alot better)
going under tunnel exhaust and remove rear seat plastic, so the can sits closer to the seat. (not so far back on tunnel)

I agree. Get one and never look back (it will still be attached). Best set up in my poinion

Craiggerbuilt has the Gas can Thingy.....great system...because you can do either the gas can or a bag. I currently have the bag on the back of my XP along with the XP gas can. If I really have a long ride then I can double up with 2 gas cans.

I got a MA gas rack it can a beating. Also have a gas rack/extenstion i made for more gas.

My wife just installed her Mountain Addiction rack today...very clean. The cans are really heavy duty as well.

I've used the Craiggerbuilt and the Mountain Addiction. They are both awesome. The Craiggerbuilt is simpler and quicker to use. You can also get a bag in it's place if you aren't packing gas. I usually always pack gas. If I don't I always run out. The little Mountain Addiction jugs are expensive but you can get them in different colors to match your sled. Either way you can't go wrong.
