Gas Q&A

sooooo i was wondering! AV gas is not that much more expensave then reg pump gas in my area! only about 25% more for 100 octan.
i know its a little overkill / pointless unless i raised the compression in my engine, but 2 outher things i had noticed about this fuel is that there is still Led in it and no ethonal in it! i think!

i heard that led would be better for lubracation of the engine and 2
that ethonal robs some power! its like fuel filler to get the cost down!

can anyone lend some input on this!

Its my understanding that av gas while higher in octane also burns drier , or something to the effect has les of certain butains used for lubebrication . Tom at CT racing told me to never run av gas in my quad cause it would burn down , and i am running 205lbs of compression at 4000 ft ! Like i say no expert on this just going by a repuatable race guys word , So in the short he told me to stick with mixing good race gas , but at your stock compression you shouldnt have any issues any how . Im running a 734 kit at 153lbs comp and the only time i worry a lil is if i drop below38 - 3500 ft then i would be concerned about detonation
