Anybody have suggestions on what style of can will nicely fit the cat gas rack. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

can you still get those cans. I used to be a polaris man, had a can but lost both caps.

Gas can

I HAVE A BRIGGS AND STRATTON 2gal, THEY ARE TALLER THAN I WANT BUT THEY STILL WORK WELL.
TWO STAPS CRISS CROSSED OVER CAN AND YOUR GOOD.
GOT IT AT LAWN MOWER SHOP BUT HAVE SEEN THEM AT GAS STAITIONS ALSO:beer;

I got 2 Mountain Addiction cans and they are about 3/4 of an inch from fitting... I like the cans so I think I will deal with them sitting a little cocked.

I to run the Polaris can, And Badss is completely correct, No play any which way. It fits like a glove and you don't have to force it in. Sits in the racks with ease, And yes they still make this can, I just got mine last year. They look like en every day gas can you can buy every where, But on the bottom right, They have polaris on them. any polaris dealer should have them, They come with two straps, So my old man went down to canadian tire and got the same nylon rope and snaps and I made two more to secure the liquid gold even more :D

Arctic Cat Fuel Cans

I have looked at every Polaris dealer for fuel cans on the Wasatch front (Utah). They do not exist here. Like W A O I use the Briggs and Stratton fuel can. I will try the Mountain Addiction cans. Does anybody know where to get some Polaris fuel cans?:D

Rumor is that Polaris doesn't make the can available to the states anymore.
By the looks of it the rumor is true.
Something dude to different regulations for all of the states.
But the part number is 2875249
In my opinion polaris makes the nicest shape and fitting gas can for the
mseries rack.

BUT Holz Racing Procuts makes a can that is suposably suposed to be
damn near the exact same dimensions and hold the same amount of fuel
Doesn't look as pretty but they all do the same thing right. One other thing
I don't like about the Holz can is that it's one of those air spout type cans
I don't know about all you guys, But i'm the type of guy who likes a gas can
with an air outlet on the back. I don't like the glug glug glug and slowness
of the air spout cans because with my past experience, These spouts don't
work. But if you want a nice fit and finish, You may have to sacrafice a few
things right? This can is also CARB approved so you won't get the risk of
being fined for pollution. CARB basically tells you what fuel cans are legal
to carry fuel in. But canada and the states have different laws.
ANYWAY here's the dimensions. Base dimensions are 11.25”x 8” and is 12” tall. And the can is 24.95

But by all means if you can get your hands on a polaris can, get it!

Dimensions are 7.5" x 11.5" x 11.5" tall. Made to fit the Polaris tunnel/racks. Although a rack is not required. Keeps the can level. Also have multi purpose straps for someone that already has an aftermarket rack.

Allsport Polaris in Spokane buys/stocks them or you can buy on my website.

Just go on the Holz website and they have them on there.
www.holzracingproducts.com under polaris IQ rmk.

As for the 2010 seat and skidoo can. I see all these guys
going to the 2010 cat seats, Yes they look great. But they
aren't waterproof! they soak up water like a sponge and become
like a gigantic paper weight. Where boss, and hmp etc...
are waterproof. Speaks for it self.
