What is everyone using to hold down there gas Cans? using Bungee staps and rope is getting old in a hurry and never seems to hold them in on a rough trail. Thanks for any ideas.:face-icon-small-hap

Nylon straps with buckles, available at most fabric, upholstry, craft, outdoor, sporting goods stores. Bungee straps don't keep their elasticity in the cold.

I have also done what MORSNO has done, works great. Found all the stuff needed at the local Ace hardware. Good luck

Same thing I did. Kinda reminds me of an old military belt. Found them at Fleet Farm, $1.50 per! Works great!

Mine is similar but different.

I opt to use a longer strap so that I can double it up and take the load off the buckle. It is real handy if you have something larger to strap on the back to have the extra strap already there. Also, where it clips back to itself, you can use it for all sorts of things. Once it is snugged up, the jug sits pretty until you are ready. With the end hemmed over and sewn, it can also double as a secondary starting strap like Polaris used to provide with the sleds. You know, the one you wrapped around the primary clutch to start the sled?
