Yup. Ran a 2863 GTX on my new Nytro last season. It is very cool. The GTX 2863, and water to air intercooler are standard issue on our HO Viper kit this season.Hey, have any of you tried Garrett gtx-r turbo on a Mcx Nytro? or at any other turbo kits?
Sorry no vid.Hi NM do you got a video of your new viper? price for your turbokit?
Sorry no vid.
Our low boost (stock compression) kit with water to air, extra injectors, and GT 2860 is 5995.00
Our HO kit with 2860,2863, or 2867 GTX turbo and high flow water to air intercooler is 6995.00. This kit also comes with headshim.
For this season we are not shipping out of Canada.
Depending on elevation and boost pressures...you are correct. Every turbocharger has its limits though.Consider the diffrence between an frontmount and an rearmount. from what i've read in theory and from what i've Heard from people that have tested in real life makes me not an believer regarding changing the MHI 16T/19T turbo to an Garrett GT/GTX in an Nytro MCX.
I ran the .86 housing on my Nytro, but we are going to the .64 housing on the Viper kits. If a customer wanted an .86 housing then we would put one on no charge.NM ,what kind of A/R house do you use on your high boost kit with GTX ? And how much HP with GTX , 350-380 hp ?
It depends on how much boost you want to run and at what elevation you ride.So what would be a good Gtx turbo to replace my garrett 2860 on my front mount powderlites kit on my rx1 . I want fast spooling turbo . Is the Gtx 2863 the same as gt2860 . Thanks for the help
I looked at the Compressor map of a 2860 vs a 2860 GTX vs a 2863 GTX and based on what I believe your motor would make for power and the air demands required to make said power, the 2860 is way undersized. At 10 lbs the 2860 would be fine, but at 20 it is way past the effiency range. For just drag racing, the turbo would have a chance of living, but could never handle sustained periods of 20 lbs boost.Nm , how much of a difference is it compared to my 2860 I have now . I trail ride it at 10 pounds and turn boost up to 20 when I'm drag racing it . So is it a big difference to what I have now . Thank you
