Picked up my snow check and thought I would give my general thoughts and “garage” comparison for those curious for both my sleds. Alpha 165 3 in vs Axys 163 2.6 in (generally stock besides can, clutching and bags):
Front body panel width - Cat 35 in vs Axys 34.5 in(axys panels more aggressive and narrows more towards feet
Ground clearance in center between skis - Cat 10.5 vs Axys 10
Handle bar height from ground - same at 47.5
Seat height from ground - Same
Board at Footwell - Cat 11 vs Axys 12
Ski width - Cat 6.25 vs Axys 7.25
The fit and quality of the Cat in my opinion seems to be better. The Cat does feel heavier moving around the garage but the track and can could be a slight difference.
