gallatin getting more closures???

Another judge deciding what we can and cannot do. You can do all the right things and join the clubs and we all have a voice and then it gets the judge and bam he strikes it down. How depressing

Is there a slim chance that there could be riding in Hyalite or is it just a helpless battle?

Hyalite is not a lost cause, I was up there a few weeks ago and spoke to a group of 4 rangers about the snowmobile restriction. They all felt that it wasn't right. The area is still open to motorcycles and other off road vehicles just closed to sleds. From what they were saying, it seems the district ranger HATES sleds and he is a driving force behind it being shut down to sledders. He has been quoted as saying that as long as he's around, no sleds will be allowed in that area. The good news is he's retiring. The rangers urged all of us to contact the district office in Bozeman and let them know how we feel about it.

Hylite can kiss my *** as can the a-holes closing all of our riding areas. Hyalite is so full of greenie fck heads I can't even stand to go up there anymore. Maybe I should do like the enviro-terrorists and burn the fckn place down since I don't agree with the closures...I can't stand hearing any more on the gallitan travel plan...It just keeps taking and taking...they should pass a law that says for every acre they close to motor vehicles, they need to give an acre somewhere else...yeah right like that would ever happen. Maybe if McCain and Pallin get into office we could get them involved to possibly help us??? Seems everything is fckd these days:mad:

You know out of all the times I have been up there I have never ran into one mad greenie not a one. Lots of sledders with Ice Climbing grear all happy and never pissed as well. I do laugh though they throw us out but yet last year they plowed the road all the way up to the lake and that let a ton of people into the area I could care less just imagine how many gallons of diesel it took to keep the road open just so they could drive there car up there and go skiing.
