from Snowforecast:
We have to get through the first 10 days of February under a ridge of high pressure across the west (no change), with mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures. The large scale pattern change we have been calling for is still expected to develop around the 10th, with large scale low pressure developing across the west coast. This means unsettled weather and big snow storms are still on order for February despite the delay. Mid next week we see the transition start, and the first storm moves in late next week (Thursday or Friday) with heavy snow that weekend (12th/ 13th).
