UDOT will be closing State Road 39 (Monte Cristo) highway at midnight Monday morning November 18th for the winter season.

Pray for snow cause there is not much up there. Have santa bring ya a side by side.

I was up at the campground yesterday and groups of motorcycles were riding by in T-shirts not good.
Today while fishing the upper part of the South Fork the temp was 64* at 2pm WAY TOO Warm.

Just hope that it gets it down to the parking lot and covers the road to get to it.
This is the problem the top will get a dumping and it is isolated.

got up there sunday before the gate closed and put some fresh tracks down. Some spots were deep enough to mess around, but for the most part we stuck to the trail. Everyone came back clean!! sage brush is still showing in most places. A few more big storms and we should be good to go. Lets just hope it doesn't warm up!
