Polaris screwed the pooch on their footwell design in my opinion.

A little snow in there and woosh $178.00 for a burnt belt. :faint:

I scratched my head and came up with an affordable solution to this issue.

God forbid a stick or rock got in there.

These plates work for turbos as well
This is SEASON TWO for Our footwell VENTS, Tried and True.
Dealers are coming online like Crazy.
You may get these vents from the following dealers:

The openings in the alumn. are the same as what i cut out,So the only thing slowing down airflow will be the screen. And there is no airflow when they are chunked up with ice freezing. lol

Its Pretty black and white to me, snow does not stick to the plastic. But it does to alumn.

Had somone ask for white So We Did it.

Mike ,

Just wanted to thank you for your prompt attention to my matter.
Folks just to let you know, my first ordered set has yet to arrive, undoubtedly customs thinks they are a threat to national security lol.
However Mike has shipped a second set to me via UPS at his cost, to take care of me. A double whammy for him because he's still out a pair of vents in la-la land, and now shipping costs on this second set.
Just wanted to send a thank you his way and let you know the level of customer service he provides !!

I have had them on my pro, since last november.
We ride with three pro's and 10 dragon.
out of three pro's all riding the same places same days, and
same conditions.
One Pro is still running Original Belt. (with footwell vents)
two have both blown belts. after first blown belt they both asked to have these installed.
The other benifit is no snow sticking in the foot hole.
We have not had any returns from any kind of failure.
And if WE did we would fix it or replace it.
at 65.00 these are cheap insurance.
one slip of a wet belt (boom) $200. belt
thats one good ride down the drain.
all of the movie makers this year riding pro's
are running these footwell vents. if they can't tear em up, we should be fine.
WE have also sent 5 pairs to MAX, @ Tri-city Polaris. they are on his Demo pro, And will be giving Us feed back as well. As His blessing!
honestly these thing are a no brainer, And should be sitting next to the spare belt, oil, skid plate when you pick up sled !
ten minute install, and peace of mind.

They Won't add ten horse power, But they will Protect your belts.
and save snow build up, And they finish the sled nicely.
Thank You for Looking.
And We would love to help you.
Mike

vents work GREAT with airframe boards (if you can get your hands on those)
mike thanks for the great service! just trimming @ 1/4 inch off the bottom and they fit like butter.

Thanks for all of the support!

Great Product from One of our own!

I'll be installing a set of these in the next week or so.

IMO... these should be on all the PRO RMK's

I'm not sure that the snow will cause any damage on the final drive belt.. but it will make a mess on that side when snow gets sprayed around.

Any rocks or pebbles that make it into the final-drive belt could wreak havoc though.

Go with some other venting in addition to these IMO..

I like the
Fire N Ice and 2-cool vents to get the hot air out of the sled.

Great quality and service. Ran em last season on my Pro. Solved the belt slip issue on left hand maneuvers. Money well spent!

I dont usually post much but had to.

Received mine a few days after sending payment. I installed them yesterday. Looks great.

Thanks Mike.

Thanks Zak. That's what we have been saying :first:
Hi Mike, Just wondering why you didn't run the top tunnel side a little higher to cover that gap that shows the aluminum? It would have finished it off better. Just asking.....good looking product btw.
Also can you post pics of the inside of the covers to see how the screens were attached?
Thank you.
