fun meter

To all who have ever booked with burandts back country adventure.

I was wondering if it is the same every year with his adventure.

And also what you liked and did not like, the pros and cons ?

And who forked out the dough to ride his turbo sleds and how was it?

Any comments are appreciated thanks in advance

Might get more press in the general section. I doubt people that live here use his service much. We ride the same areas and can watch great riders puttin on a show for free :D

heck the Bushmaster Backcountry Adventure will only cost you a twelver..just gotta bring your own sled....no gurantees on getting it back to the rig though!

and part of the "show" just showed up;)

Don't know the asnswers to your Q's, but I'd want a discount for the snow conditions we have now.

Don't forget PJs Backcountry Adventures! Mine will just cost ya a bit o fuel for the truck and sled.

Sorry, I can't do backflips though.

Try this thread in General. There seems to be a bunch of threads regrading his business. I would be very hesitant to drop that much on a ride now, given the "HERO" snow conditions that we have now and no snow in sight!

I had a buddy pay for a reservation & then not be able to come with his other friend that came out here, so I went with him for the day.
It was a great day with good snow when the snow where everyone was sucked. I think the biggest reason to ride with him is the buddies that are there to dig folks out, it's like having an unstuck service along!!
Start of the day I rode with the pack & helped people get unstuck, had fun but was kinda like a normal day. Toward lunch time I started riding in the front right behind chris & letting the diggers deal with the other folks (I had a few too, don't get me wrong!), the rest of the day was great, I got my *** kicked by Chris, but it was at a level that was fun, not just straight abuse. He's good at adapting riding to your level, as it became just the two of us he ramped it up & whooped on me little by little.

I could care less about riding with some great rider, I've been around pros of one type or another most of my life between competing & being a photographer, so that wasn't a factor for me at all, but it was fun. (funny, the guys we rode with were quoting things he said in articles & movies, stuff I've never even seen, I think they wanted to hump his leg.)

Was it worth $300?? Well, if you're going to ride an area you already ride, probably not. I don't think I could have justified full price either way, but it was still a great day. I don't ride ears much & we rode there & never saw another person all day & never crossed a track after 5 minutes out & till 10 min from the truck at the end of the day (7pm).
