Full size skid plate?

Anybody else drilling holes in the full size skid plate by the A arms to help prevent snow build up. I noticed it turns to ice and the suspension rubs on it.

The full body skid plate really fills up with snow to the point that the rivets start pushing out and the skid plate comes loose. The Ski Doo Extreme skid plate doesn't protect the A-arms, but it works very well in deep snow, and doesn't accumulate snow like the full body plate does.

Yep

Don't like the full belly pan

The full pan is a bit of a pain in the neck. It fills up like they said. I have always ran with the extreme skid from skidoo, it works very well for me and even it fills up with some snow and ice at times. Should just run you around 80-90 bucks at a good dealer.

Hope I posted the right pic. I cut out my full coverage skid plate under the
a-arms for improved side hilling, also side/tail cut on skis, same reason, works
awesome. Up hill ski when side hilling goes down into powder a lot easier.

When cutting out the skid plate I left enough material so that could bend up
a flap to the rear of the a-arms and fasten it the plastic in front of clutches and silencer.

Good Luck
