Full Primary shift-out

I am not getting full shift out on my new sled. Its an '18 Rmk AXYS 800 163" 2.6. Trying to clutch it for the Snowies 9-12000ft.
Im running 10-60s with the 120-320 spring, stock black secondary spring, stock helix.
The belt only reaches within an inch of top of sheave on primary.
Machine is pretty stock, just a can.

totally normal. you never see full shift out on these. You can play around with gearing and clutching to gain a little, but not much.
As long as its turning 8200-8300 I wouldnt worry about it.

It will hit 8400 right away, then back off to 8250-8300.

It is simply running out of power. That said peak torque is usually a couple hundred rpm below peak HP. If you ran it between 8050 and 8300 you may actually pick up track speed.

If you had adjustable weights you could load the heel more to help that, but with stock weights if you put in 62's it will be too much.

I like to clutch my sleds to the high side of the RPM range in dry or low to med snow conditions so when you get a good dump of powder or are riding some heavy snow your not down in the 78-7900 range.

I had 10-62s in it first, and it would only hit 8200 and back off to 8000-7900. and the belt was probably 1-1/2" below sheave top edge. i think 10-60s was a step in the right direction. i was thinking about adjustable weights, just havent decided on which ones.

The primary and secondary diameters are mismatched so full shift out on the primary is not geometrically possible

I get full shift on my primary all the time. But my clutching is dialed and I'm boosted

I'd have go look again, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting full shift out or real dang close to it.
