Full length leg zippers????

Why on God's White Earth do snowmobile pants/bibs have full length leg zippers?



I get it for pulling on over jeans and trail riding with a mocha latte in the cup holder.



But jumping around the sled like a monkey bashing through trees in the mountains?

Most likely because it's very convenient for pulling on bibs/pants over boots.
Having full length zippers have never affected me when jumping side to side through the trees in the mountains. In fact, i would not buy bibs any other way.

Love the full length zippers. I open them from the top on the way to the parking lot so they act like vents.

What are you guys wearing underneath your bibs?



I'm a tighty whitey only underneath 40grams of insulation, will start thinking about long johns at -20F.

I wish more models had them honestly, i just wear gym shorts and long socks, so i drive to the hill like that and wish i could wear my boots from the house, then just throw pants on faster and roll out. i dont like having to take my shoes off in the trailer to swap into my boots.

I like the zippers also due to getting dressed by the truck. Much easier to get dressed quick when the entire leg is open. I wear silk weight Cabela's long underwear and a pair of Klim Inferno pants under my Togwotee bibs.

Easier to PP with the full zippers....Zip down whip it out and ahhh so easy.
