Ok guys, I have 25 gallons of fuel left (Sunoco 110) from a purchase last May, would you use it on your turbo at 18lbs. Its been in a barrell with a hand pump in my garage all summer.

I wouldn't. I would burn it off in one of my vehicles or something. It can have a good shelf life if sealed but sitting with the pump in it, You might just want to play it safe and get new stuff for your sled.

What's 25 gal of race fuel cost? What's the cost of a rebuilt or possibly a new engine ? I would throw 5 gal at a time in the car or pickup and use it up that way. Ken...

No way would I put that in mine at 18lbs. Wouldn't run it in my car either because of the cat. I run my mower on my left over stuff from the year.

Another question then, how long are you guys letting a barrel stand. I mean, if you dont use a barrel in what 3months, are you dumping it. I mean things happen, work, family, You get hurt.

On Sunoco the shelf life is great and would last you through the summer months if you...
Store the barrel in a cool dark place
You MUST reseal the caps! Tight
I would not use it at 18#
Use it in the stock sleds
Since you left the pump in all summer you probably killed it..

Mix it with new fuel and you will be fine. I am running 17lbs of boost c12/ 94 pump and have had no problems
