I have an 08 m8 and an 09 m8 with filler neck cracks. Took them to the local dealer and they got cat to cover parts no problem, but they don't have any tanks in stock and wont have any shipped out until middle of next month. Anyone know of any dealers out there with tanks in stock?

I think your sol, I called a dealer 3 weeks ago and it took 2 weeks to get one, there must be a run on them. You could fill with rtv black, let that dry then cover with shoe goo, should hold for awhile. It does take a big hit to break it off, I took a hammer and had to hit it several times before it half of it came off. If you cant wait for a new tank.
Is it so hard to figure out that the 2010-2011 tank is the same thing????
