Fuel scent additives

I don't think that it will actually eliminate exhaust fumes. It will just sort of mask them. IE, I wouldn't dump that stuff in your tank and then let it run in your garage or trailer thinking it'll all be OK because it smells like raspberries.

They need one in PINE scent so the greenies will welcome us riding by them, enhance their outdoor experience.:face-icon-small-ton

1/2 ounce of castor oil per gallon of gas will attract the chicks.

I would use with caution in slide operated carbs. Years ago when I was still hillclimbing dirtbikes I tried running fuel scent in my 4 cylinder open bike with Lectron carbs. Apparently that stuff (or the kind I used anyways) must be kind of sticky because my throttle slides started hanging open, not a good thing on a 120ish hp dirtbike!!! Drained all the fuel from carbs and tank, cleaned carbs and refilled with non scented fuel and problem gone.

Wow! Thanks for the headsup on that one!! How long till it started sticking the slides?

First tank of fuel with scent. And I always kept my carbs clean, so it wasn't because they were dirty.

I make it a point not to smell it! I do not ride trails and I am usually moving! But to be in it enough to be concerned about scent just strikes me as a little odd?
Between Amsoil and my E-tec, I don't get much smoke!

we've ran it in sleds in the past just to see if it worked and never had any adverse effects. depending on the scent some of them actually smell pretty good and mask the exhaust smell quite well. if nothing else it was a good conversation starter when you rolled into a new group of riders.

why no officer... I haven't been smoking the crazy, devil weed.
That's my super-neato Fuel Scent Additive: Reefer Madness!
Just $12.95 for a 4 oz. bottle.

My old RMKs got 1 oz/gallon of AA degummed castor oil premix in the fuel tank. My new RMK will get 6 oz/tank of fuel of the same stuff with oil pump turned up 3 turns. I'm hoping the kiss of castor will protect the skirts and pistons....nothing has higher film strength and I'll check the power valves later to see how they are tolerating the castor. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of castor?
