Fuel range

I know that you more than likely don't track how many miles you ride in a day but want to know how long you can ride on a tank of fuel.
I am thinking of getting a new KTM 500 or a husaberg 500.
I can ride my RMK pro most days with out needing to refuel, but when I do I carry a Mountain Addiction can with me.

Snow depth will really affects the mileage. My average day is about 4 gallons. The bike seem to get between 10 and 20 mpg. 10 in deep powder and 20 on set up or spring snow.
I just got a new Husaberg 501 and it seems to get better then average mileage. Not sure what my true mpg is yet but it looks to be better then my last year KX 450.

My last few rides have been 5-6 hours, in powder
Ive been going though anywere from 3 gallons to 4 1/2
allways comming home with gas leftover.

On a Kx450f in Washington I average 4 gallons and my biggest day was 7.5 gallons.

on my 2013 ktm sxf 450 , 13 to 17 mpg all extreme hills and powder and up 23 mpg on road running with 6 to 12 in of fluffy powder this is with gps and mechanical speedos
