fuel pump

I didn't have a real good look yet but I need to rotate my fuel pump 90 degrees...will it be straight forward or is a a trick to it.!?

It sounds like a trick ???? Make ,model,yr why do you need to turn it ????.

Its on a 2012 800 switchback..I have installed a turbo and the routing of the lines need to be a little different due to the position of the intake . I maybe able to get away turn the assembly about 45 degrees ccw , right now the supply and return line are both pointing towards 6 oclock ( straight towards the front of the sled ) and need to be pointing around 8 oclock

Are the lines to short to fit your application or is there something in the way?Have you pulled out the fuel pump from the tank and looked to see what would happen if you moved it?Sorry I have not had a new one apart yet and my manual is at home.

this is what i have

I removed the pump and rotated it but the fuel guage may not be accurate any more.
