Fuel pump/regulator question

Need some help please...

I purchased a used 2011 Polaris PRO with a Silber turbo and Boost-it XIC on it, but ended up taking turbo off for now and put it back to stock. My question is when they originally installed the turbo or XIC do they do anything to the fuel pump or regulator that's different then stock. When I put the fuel lines back to stock I ended up taking the little external FPR that was spliced in off the sled and hooked up the original fuel in/return line to the two fittings on the top of the fuel pump and thought that was all that was needed. The sled will pop off for a second about every ten pulls but if I add a little gas down the plugs it stay running till the gas burns out. So it's definitely not getting gas for some reason. Thanks

You pull the stock regulator with the boost it setup... 95% sure at least.

The stock fpr is located on the fuel pump assembly. It gets removed and the external fuel pressure regulator is used for the boost-it setup. IF returned to stock you must reinstall the stock fpr into the fuel pump assmebly in the fuel tank.

WesG is correct

Thanks for the information guys... I ended up putting my brother in-laws tank on for ****s and giggles and the sled fired right up, so my tank is definitely missing the regulator. Problem now is my sled didn't come with the stock parts. So I went online to a Polaris parts fiche trying to track a regulator down and it looks like to me that they only sell the whole fuel pump and not just the regulator. Is that correct or how can I get my hands on one? Thanks again!

I have one I can ship you. Or you can try Neil at boost-it as they will have takeoffs at the shop. Neil@boost-it.ca

Other turbo companys may have takeoffs as well if they use a different regulator.

Edit- Could try local dealers and see if they have changed a pump. Might get lucky and find one that could grab the reg. for you off the assembly.
