Fuel pump question??

So I'm trying to sort out a fuel pump for my 05 900. I've found one but buddy tells me it's a 8 bar pump. I'm not sure if it will be the right one. I do know that the 05 pump shoots fuel at 58psi, and the 06 shoots fuel at 116 psi. I've heard that there is a 4bar pump and a 8bar pump. What the heck is bar?? Sounds like british units for pressure. So the question is, if it's an 8 bar pump, will it work?? Putting a pump on that is rated for 116psi, on a 58psi system, what would happen? Blow fuel lines?

1 bar is 14.5 psi so 8 bar is 116psi. There should be a regulator inline so I wouldn't think the hp pump would hurt...but I don't know for sure

hey mac i now have an extra 05 fuel pump if you still need one. I had to put the 06 pump in my sled so i have my 05 sitting here. let me know.
