fuel pump 2013 pro

I'm having deto issues intermittently while wide open throttle. When it does this this the afr numbers go lean. I have added a ton of fuel to the control box when it does this, with no results. I am running out of parts to change and am wondering if any one else has had a fuel pump fail.

The sled ran flawless for 600 miles at 12-14 psi then this started.
2013 pro 163, BD intercooled 2863

I have changed/checked
-2 fuel filters
-turned boost down to 8 psi
-running straight vp c12
-checked engine mounts
-checked det sensor routing
-checked intercooler mounting
-changed pipe temp sensor
-checked smart valves in tank
-fuel pump checked out on polaris digital wrench but that is just a pressure test
-BD updated my box to v 9.2
-had tps checked and re-calibrated
-turned all tuning back to rich BD starting numbers.
-installed black silver secondary spring so not to over rev in mid range

Any help would be appreciated i'm about ready to pull my hair out.

Power supply to boondocker fueler ? Maybe loosing good power supply and not operating secondary injectors.

Do you have electric start?
I notice quite often at WOT, that my innovate afr gauge gives me a low voltage code. Strange only at WOT, the rest of the time it is on.
Having a small battery to stabilize power on a turbo sled is probably a good idea.
I thought if your box was sensitive to power it might cut out.
Other than that, connections?

It's a non e start. I checked all plugs and changed afr sensor for no reason. My oil pump is running off my 12v plug and my intercooler fan and afr gauge is running of the BD fan board(ac to dc converter) I wonder if I am to heavy on the ac side. Should I plug the afr gauge into the headlight power?

Do you know that your secondary injectors work?
You can test them by hooking up a button to the BD box, and active the function in the Xtra menu(Tst Inj), then sart the sled and push the button. If te injectors work the sled will drown and die, if not it will just idle.

BD helped me this far. He figures its a fuel flow problem, which I tend to agree with. I have changed the fuel filter twice now with no results. That is why I was wondering if anyone else has had a fuel pump problems.

fuel pump

I had this same issue .. slowly got worse every ride and eventual took out pistons when secondaries opened up it went lean!! my pump was 45 psi at idol and should of been 58-60 psi .. put in new walbro pump and problem solved .. I had 3300 kms on it with 10-12 lbs boost.. Now a 0-80 psi gage is permanently mounted on the sled !

hope this helps

Mine is acting the same. It slowly got leaner for the last 3 rides until this last time i had the turbo fuel all the way to 8 and it was still lean. In the process of putting in new pump. I changed my fuel filter and no change 2 rides ago.

Thanks for your help guys! The polaris digi wrench tested my fuel pump at 60 psi but that doesn't mean it's keeping up under load. A fuel pressure gauge is in my future when I replace the pump.

On my previous turbo sled when the reeds failed it only affected the bottom end but it might be time to change them out as well.

My pump should show up early in the week and i have my fingers crossed that it is the problem.

Same problem 2011 BD pro

I have some of the same problems and more so all over the board.
Mine has alot more miles but might be same issue.
Look and see if the TMAP wire is rubbing the frame, tough one to
find but can cause a whole book full of running funnies.
Don't know about 13 rubbing the carbon fiber though.
