Fuel Pressure Regulator guys come on in...

Ok I installed my fuel press gauge and am getting 46-47 psi at an idle, is this high for stock pressure? what's a good starting point to set my
fuel psi at for my mods in sig? Was told 5 psi increase.

Whats everone else running? 2000-6000 feet

and should I need to run premium fuel? I don't think so since I am not
increase timming or compression

thanks in advance...

Depends what your plug readings are.
Depends on EGT's
Depends on Air Fuel ratio readings.

How does your sled actually run?
I've read pressure to be anywhere from 35 to 50 psi on the m1000's.
How many miles to a tank of fuel do you get?

I run 91 fuel in mine with a full pipe set at 38 psi. Stock head.
I think for the m1000's there's no real starting point other than figuring it out from what you already got: one thing at a time.

What kind of fuel controller are you using?

What are you running for a fuel box Team? I am having to get down around 36-38psi to keep from fouling plugs with my Attitude Box. Without the box. I have to crank it up to 50psi to stay safe. I don't understand if my Attitude box is set at stock settings why it has to be at 38 and when I pull the box it needs to go up to 50?

No controller just pressure reg, runs great now with no y-pipe, no egt's just Checking plugs - looking rich...

Honestly get some gauges and watch it in the mid range. From 5500-6000. That will be the hot spot.

For pressure I would set it to 49 psi. If it is to fat and fouls all the time start cutting it back.

But start high and work down. Not the other way around.

My guess is you are checking your plugs on a long pull. This isn't the hottest spot. Mine runs cooler on the top than in the mid. It should be hottest on the top. But the AC fuel program adds a bunch more fuel on top than it adds in the mid. Thus a hot midrange.
