fuel/oil in the air box

Does your crancase breather vent to your air box?If so probably fuel in your crank case oil

my guess

your oil is diluted and over full so it spits it out the breather tube which is routed into air box.

Josh,

There is a post by Rush 44 on the Snow Bike thread that he left on 12-20 that talks about this issue and what he is doing about it. After you told me about it, I've been checking and found some other posts on other sites as well - all agree with Rush 44 as to what the problem is. Your idea on changing the sensor may be a solution.

thanks for the help thinkn i shoulda kept my carb set up way less hasel

You just need to find a way to get your engine temps up to a point where the rings seal! then you can enjoy the benefits of your FI system! these bikes were not ment to run in this cold ,but just as we do with couches we modify to get to where we need to be! add a tstat and then if need be add fuel control.

Even if your engine is running at the proper temp you will always get some oil and water coming from the breather , that happens when you boil of moisture from the oil. With ice around the engine case there is always condensation in a snow-bike engine. Running proper temp helps but there is always some residue.
Now when you over fuel on top of that things go real sideways.
Most of the fuel in the oil is not happening when running it happens on failed starts every time you cycle the fuel pump and try an other start it just dumps fuel like crazy . I have seen cars with 1-2 litres of fuel in the oil when people flood them and keep trying to start over and over. If the bike does start and you do not get to operating temps the gas will not boil of,if you do get to operating temps gas will boil of and depart your engine oil through the breather and make a mess.
