Well, I am going to be trying to put a nytro fuel injection system on a carbed vector motor. The only major problem I am seeing currently is the carb boots and throttle body boots are different this won't be a big dael as I will just machine new flanges for it. But how about the crank position sensor. Does anyone know why they went to this rather than the trigger coil on the flywheel? Also if the trigger coil could be used instead? I would guess that the Crank sensor was to maybe save room on the magneto cover?
I plan on working on this this summer. In the end I want this and a NM Boost it system on my sled. I am tired of carbs and the hassle of getting them in and out to change jetting. It takes me an hour and a half to pull the carbs to change jetting that could be changed in 10 seconds with fuel injection with zero tools, in a snow storm, etc. You get the point.
