How do you take out the fuel gauge from the tank is there a special tool to remove it or do you just push it out from the inside .All the guts fell out of it and i think toast.

Thanks, the float just became a sinker on mine. One on order.
A thin flathead also works good.
I pulled everything out off the tank going to try to epoxy the rod back in the gauge part.Worth a try.
