The fuel filter is located on the left side of the fuel tank. If I remember correctly it is connected to the fuel line coming off the sender from the fuel tank and should be routed towards the back inside edge of the air box shroud and then it is also fastened to it with a clamp.
Here's a few pics. You might want to check/bleed the fuel pressure before you remove the first fitting to keep fuel from spraying. You will see the Schrader valve with a valve stem cap on it to do the trick. I saw a post either here or at BCR that told of a Napa replacement filter from an auotmotive application that was a higher volume filter at at a decent price. If anyone knows of a part # or what the deal is post it up. Good luck. EW
This is with the airbox out, but you get the idea. The filter is in the mount and the bleeder valve is in the hard part of the other line to the right.
Two different size fittings, 3/8 and 5/8 if I remember right.
A cheap set of these will do.
Just like this to release it.
I found this blue one cheap at WPS, but it doean't work on 07 and newer. I have seen a few hanging behind parts counters that say Polaris IQ, but it is not for the 07 & up.
Here is a picture of the location on your 07. If you remove the plastic cover over the electronics (the cover also is the spare belt holder) and airbox like EricW did it will make access easier.
