Putting things back together and I have a black hose that I think is attached to the fuel pump and I don't remember what it hooks up to. Manual doesn't address it anywhere. Anyone?

That hose just snakes down behind your motor and will drip into the belly pan, it's the vent for the emissions thingy, lol. When we rebuilt my buddies sled, we got a longer hose from the auto parts store and drilled a small hole and let it leak out the bottom, secured it to the float plate with a screw.... no more oil leaking into the engine bay that way.

To sum it up, just put it out of the way behind the motor where it wont rub on anything... :beer;

Thanks! I already have the engine back in so I can't tap the hole this year. I see what you mean about routing it out the bottom though. Not such a hot design. I also have two clear hoses I don't remember what they go to. I'm pretty sure one is for the tank vent but the other has a black 90 on it that doesn't seem to go to anything. There is a lot of stuff on my sled that wasn't routed right or zip-tied out of the way. I think the dealer did a lot to it when the previous owner had it.

As I recall the only clear hoses on these sleds are the oil lines and the fuel tank vent line, so if its not your oil line then it must be a vent. On the 05 the vent crosses the sled on the steering hoop and then back again, then points down behind the secondary. On the 06 it just comes out of the tank and immediately drops down behind the secondary.

hope that helps:beer;

Thats it! Its the ones around the steering post, just didn't remember what they hooked up to. I know one is the gas tank vent for sure. Thanks for the help, when I'm done at least I'll know how to get to everything if I ever have problems again. I don't think I will, I've checked everything 3 times!
