Fuel delivery question

Today I cleaned the carbs and installed new fuel lines on an old 94 Indy Sport. When starting the sled, there was not a constant flow of fuel in the line. Shouldn't the fuel line be solid fuel with no air bubbles in it? Is there a fuel pump issue?

Thanks,
Pal

I would think that there should be no air for sure. Wouldn't make sense to pump air into carbs. So yes a constant flow or more like constant pressure. Might try running the thing for a while. Could just be bleeding its self. Don't know how else you would purge that system. Maybe try Taking the fuel lines off the carbs. With a full tank of gas and putting a couple psi of air into gas tank. Like you used to have to do on the old ski doos to get them to start. maybe that way would push out some air. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

It'll be fine and should clear up. The fuel has to go into the carb and stays in the float bowl around the main so it's not like it's going lean everytime you hit a bubble, the motor knows no difference.
