Fuel Controller 101 ?'s

Thanks for looking at my post. I bought a '13 800 Assault that has zero miles on it. Last night I won an Attitude Industries fuel controller of my choice. I wasn't exactly sure what this product is/does and still don't after researching for a couple hours. I will preface this by saying I have read MANY of the posts about the problems fellow SnoWesters have had with this company and don't want this thread to turn into a dog the company thread. :face-icon-small-sho There are also folks who have had great experiences and hopefully living within 10 miles of the company will help.

Here are some of my questions/concerns. Does it void the warranty? I don't really care to void a four year warranty on a brand new sled.

What are the benefits of this controller? Is it something you have to be constantly playing with on the mountain to get results?

This sled will remain stock otherwise...no turbos, no heads, etc. I'm sure I will have more questions as the answers come. Thanks for your help.

I had the 3.5 on silber on the d7 and once you get familiar with I liked it. I don't know if you are gaining much by running it on a stock sled, but again that is just my opion. Pretty sweet deal to win it though

Hey this might be great on a stock sled as mine runs on the rich side from mid to top end.
My air-fuel # at idle is at 14-15, at mid 5000rpm are 14.5 at 5500 their in the 13s, at6000 they start dropping fast going into the low 12s and then when at WOT it's at 11.3. I think there is room for lots of improvement. I'm sure interested if this could work.

As long as u don't have to hack into your wire harness, u shouldn't have any warranty issues cause u can jus take it off before u take it to a dealer. It's is a nice controller once u get used to how it works. Wouldn't hurt to run a a/f gauge so u can tell what u r running.

Thanks for the info guys. From other threads it sounds like Attitude Industries knows what they are doing as long as you can get the product. If anyone has more info, feel free to chime in. I will talk to Attitude this week and get their opinion. Thanks again.
