Ft performance chip polaris fusion 700 900 efi

On eBay are a bunch of different chips for 900. There is one that is adjustable "FT PERFORMANCE CHIP POLARIS FUSION 700 900 EFI" has anyone used one and what do you guys think bout chips like that one?

Ive read about these type of "chips" and I believe they are simply a resister of some sort that messes with your exhaust sensors input to the ecu. Not a good idea if you ask me.

I confess, I put one on last year. It would drowned out my plugs before I got up the trail. I put an on/off switch on it for the ride in. Switch in on, then it would drown my plugs out 3/4 the way up a steep climb! It is not on my sled anymore!
