Frozen Shoulder

Has anyone ever had a frozen shoulder? What did you do?
I'm thinking about having it manipulated, Where the put you under and force it to move untill it breaks up any scar tissue holding it.

Ive never even heard of it before but to put you under to force movement .....dude that sounds painfull. Good luck

Yeah I googled it, There's even a chance they could break my friggin arm. Riding starts in a couple months too!! And I ordered a new XRS

First heard of this about 9 months ago. My brother had it, he opted for the manipulation procedure you speak of 6 months ago. I then developed it about 3 months ago, what a coincidence. I opted for physical therapy. Started about a week ago and have made good progress, PT said maybe another 2 weeks. According to the Doc and the PT there is no known cause only theories but the good news is even if you do nothing it goes away with time.
Seems like it's always something.

That sounds horrible. Can you still move your shoulder?

Maybe give me a call tomorrow night around 6 or 7 pm, I will try to 3way my brother. It's been a while since I have talked to him anyway.
I opted for PT only because it was less invasive and traumatic, plus I always have the manipulation option if PT didn't work. Also I knew a very good PT, she helped me after back surgery 3 years ago. The doctor also recommended PT first.

hey ted, not to worry if you can't ride i'll break in the new sled for ya!!! after all a new sled is a terrible thing to waste hope you get it taken care of, looking forward to riding with you guys again this year...

you can pt yourself. you have to make it move. it will slowly start to give and if you work it often you can be almost good as new.
