Front suspension swap 2010 HCR and 2008 SP

I have a 2008 M1000 SP for a mountain sled and would like to buy a 2010 HCR for a boondocker, does anyone know if I can swap the A-Arms out to narrow the HCR and widen the M1000? If I can swap, will I have to swap the shocks too, or can I leave the Floats on the M1000?

I have a 2007 M8 and just did the same thing last weekend. I put HCR arms on it and now its at 42ins wide, stock 39in. You do need to run a longer shock as well. Stock ones are 18in eye to eye and you need to run 19in or 19.5. Just so you no the HCR arms are a bit heavier then the ones you have. Hope this helps.
