Front Ski Shocks?

I need better front shocks for the 900. I currently have the stock non adjustable shocks and ride with the sway bar. I have seen good deals on walker evans air shocks, or should i spend the money on fox float air shocks? Or are there stiffer springs that I can install on the current non adjustable Ride AFX shocks? I still plan on keeping the sway bar after I install the upgrade. Any help would be nice.

walker airs would need to be revalved for the heavier 900 ccoil over shocks ( zero pros or walker needles would be my choice on the lower end of the price range dual rate Z-bros shocks at the high end .Standard Floats would be fine if are leaving the sway bar evol R or X without the sway bar..

the stock non adjustables are junk and should be treated as such. good suspension makes the 900 a whole different animal.

Thanks for finally answering the question I have been asking for months. I think I am going to go with the float Evol R or the X.

IMHO, if you can get the WE "airs" for a really good deal, don't hesitate. I bought a used set in Nov./08 for under $300, took them to my dealer and had the nitrogen pressure bumped up to 225 psi. So far, after 2 1/2 seasons, they've been great. I've had absolutely no issues with them and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Just to give you some feedback on the lower price range shocks....
My 06 Switch back came with Fox Zero Pro`s, I have long since converted it to an RMK, but anyways, I really like how my sled handles and rides... much better than the cheap Ryde FX`s (non rebuildable). I would recommend them if you are like me and cant spring for Exit`s, or high end air shocks.
