OK...new to the Polaris family and just bought a 2005 Fusion 900 (Red) and a 2006 Fusion 600 HO (Blue).

The front shocks are not installed the same way on each sled....which way is right? ...or does it matter? You may have to study the pictures a moment to see what I am asking! :face-icon-small-con

the shock does not know the diff upside down will protect the shaft

If you put the shock shaft down..

You have less moving suspenion weight!!!!:face-icon-small-win

What NapaMatt said, with the shock shaft down it is less weight on the suspension component allowing it to follow the terrain better / react faster.
