Picked up the wife's new sled last week and took it out for the first ride. We met another rider with the identical machine and started checking each others out. His front shocks have the shaft at the bottom and mine have the shaft at the top. Which way is right? All the pictures from skidoo show the shaft at the bottom. The dealer said he called skidoo twice and got a different answer both times. what gives? How are all of yours set up? Any downsides one way or the other? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Look closer at the operating manual, it shows the shaft and the dampener adjustment at the bottom? (impossible) My shaft is at the bottom and dampener adjuster at top. Whe you get it figured out let me know how to lessen the dampening. I tried turning the screw and it just seemed to screw out like a plug? Maybe turn the brass hex nut?
