Front Shock question?

Anyone know off the top of their head if front shocks from my 07 rev x (rebuidable) would fit on the nytro? Second would it be worth the effort? Need re-valving? Since I would be swapping them cost would be zero.

Thoughts?

You'll need to revalve and maybe go to a stiffer spring.

Check the center to center. Nytro is 17.5 inches.

Anyone know what revalve and springs would cost? Might just be less hassle to find a set of cheap floats.

My understanding is that Fox is now suggesting a 16.5" C-C distance for Nytro MTX applications. You might want to double check that but it opens up alot of other choices for you to try to pick up used shocks.

Got a great deal on a set of floats. They have to be better the stockers......at least lighter.

Rev shocks vary greatly depending on the year and model. I've seen Rev shocks in 16.5, 17.25, 17.5, 17.75, and 18. I still like using 17.5" shocks to keep the front of the sled up, but anything 16.5-17.5 will work and you can shorten shocks that are over 17.5.
