front fox float problem

OK, so have 400miles on my 09 M1000, noticed today the one shock is collapsed.last time I check em i was at 60lbs each. So I , took the weight off the front and pumped it up to 65lbs and let er down. It held up, but does seem softer than the other side..Don't have any experience with these babies. So question, is it pooched and should i get it replaced?

air shock

pull the valve core out and make sure it is not bent, sometimes they bend when installing pump and taking it back off.and it will leak reeeeaaalll slow. had it happen to me at 150 miles ,pulled valve and you could see it was bent, just replaced and no problems since

hopefully this helps...

had same problem on my new 2010 m8sp. had shocks rebuilt at cat race shop they didn't find anything wrong but after cleaning and putting back together worked great. It was that way right out of the crate, 900 miles since and no problems. must have been a chunk of crap in valve or somethin...who knows

hey

They don't put near enough fluid in them from the factory, and it will be completely empty shortly after. I take mine apart every 300 miles and refill it, and theres never any fluid int here when I do this. it won't hold air pressuer when theres no fluid in there. Take it off the sled, and unscrew the top off and have a look in there. I add about 2 inches of oil.
