Front Dump Can

Ok thanks, I just looked on their website and Jaws does have them. Anyone have experience with a jaws silencer? Are they loud or quiet? I have a Cutler can right now.

Thanks
Dustin

Have had Jaws in the past one of the loudest for sure. Call up CPI they have one also i belive and they are quieter

Ceramic SLP twin pipes w/ Jaws front dump kit

I have a ceramic twin SLP setup with twin JAWS silencers that dump out the front and ready to bolt on....asking $450. They were a bit loud but did not bother me. Solved 99% of my powder rt side bog problems.

PM me if interested, can provide pictures.

If you have a cutler make it into a front dump. I have seen 3 of those built that way. It is super easy. If your not a welder take it to a local muffler shop and have them do it. Basically just cut the intake off and weld a 90 in it then weld the intake on to the 90. And the cutler sounds SWEET !!
oh, and to answer your question, the jaws is LOUD !

Pipes

Thanks for all the help guys I am thinking maybe i will try to fabricate my can into a front dump. What have you guys seen the SLP single vs. twin pipes? I didnt notice any change from my stock pipe to SLP single. Are twins a noticable gain?

Thanks
Dustin

you gain some top end with twins. But at the cost of some of that monster bottom end. Also, with the twins you get a wicked lean spot in the mid that you cant tune out. you have to be super careful when trail riding. keep the throttle moving or you will burn her down.

pipes

Rixster,

So you think I would be better of staying with the single? I have never had twin pipes and always wanted a set but if I am not gonna gain performance and just add unreliability i better just stay with the single

Thanks
Dustin

You do gain more HP with the twins and a tough to tune lean spot, you still get the torque. That being said I have no EGT's and have not burned it down, if I do install the EGT's I think I could tuned it away?? (Think)

All That said Im doing another 900 and Twins for this one too, Mostly because i know the jets?
