Front cooler delete?

I'm trying to get the front cooler out of the sled and i can not figure out how in the world it can come out with out cutting it, the right hand tube sticks out of the bulkhead and the top tube hits on the frame. Anyone that has taken theres out any info would be great

Also i got the van amburg kit for the delete and it comes with three pieces of aluminum, i know the one piece takes place of the cooler but the other two pieces with different angles bent into them i cant really figure out where they go.

Thanks for any insight

You have to drill out the rivets on each side of the bulkhead and take out the bolts on each bulkhead. You basically need to take the sled completely apart OR just cut the piece off that hangs out the side unless you plan on selling it. Once you put the VE block off plate in place the notched out piece slides up under the webbing on each side where the jack shaft exits the bulkhead. The smaller bent piece connects to the block off plate and connects to the notched out piece. Drill 4 or 5 holes across and rivet in in place. The big piece goes over the jack shaft and gets riveted in place. I have pics but not on this computer. Just an FYI, I run the 3 inch track so I did not run the plates under the jackshaft for clearance reasons, I just covered it with the big one and I have had zero issues.

If you could get pics up sometime that would be great, i think i have an idea of how it goes with how you explained it

Thanks

Are you deleting your radiator? The reason i ask is i installed MPI tunnel coolers and im not sure how the hoses run. What exhaust are you running?

Yep deleted the radiator, with the van amburg the hoses run through the boards of the tunnel back to the coolers, so im not sure how it is set up with yours, and im running a impulse kit so not much for an exhaust.

I went and looked at some pics quick of the mpi, looks like you could just disconnect your stock tunnel cooler, move them hoses around to get the new mpi hooked up and then use a pressurized coolant bottle in place of the radiator, it would take some thinking and new hoses to get everything lined up but would work that way. I have most of my hoses hooked up and layed out but still going through the thought process of where i want to run a few and have them all hooked up and also have a place to mount the coolant bottle with a big intercooler in the way

It would be nice to run a 3'' track.
