front bumper helmet cam mount

some people were asking where to get a mount for your helmet camera that is attached to the front of the sled, heres one that i built for my apex, that fits in my backpack when collapsed and has 3 different height adjustments (pix). ive also built a couple for my buddies, mounting to rear bumpers and a-arms, but these ones had an aluminum pole welded horizontally at the top to be used in conjunction with a "handlebar mount" so that more then one type of camera can be used. hope this helps give people ideas about theirs, or ill build u one if u want lol.

thanks! that looks good and sturdy.. i'm trying to brainstorm something for my front bumper for a gropro that doesn't require welding and a little less fabrication.. i think if i hit the hardware store i can start getting a better idea for something..

You just need one of these for contour helmet cams:

There's a couple shots in this with that setup. Its a contour HD cam mounted on the bumper with a couple rubber straps. Worked very well and had no problems.
