Hey there sledheads. Are there any good riding areas, mountains and back country, near Sand Point.

I am considering a move there in a few years.

Although I live where I can ride directly out of my garage and go on for hundreds or thousands of miles, I am used to trailering a minimum of 50 miles one way for better riding and sometimes 300+ one way for great riding.

I was wondering how the areas and travel time compare.

Is it normal for people to trailer north near or into Canada.

We seem to think so , heck not many people live here for the $ :(. Sandpoint is a pretty good hub for one who likes to ride (if your not lookin to get rich) you can go any direction and be riding in an hour or half that or you could take a short jaunt to canada and be in phenominal riding IMO. The more riders the better, hopefully there will still be some land open  if you come down. I'll link some photo's from yesterday, also there's usually alot of pics. from local riding areas in the spokane riders thread.
