Side panel vents

I got some Frogzskins side panel vents from CPC at the snow show. I'm concerned about them sticking and staying on. Is there any tricks to do before I install. Thanks in advance :beer;:beer;:beer;

used them on my m8 for 1 whole season with not one problem. just got to make sure your side panels are oil free and warm or they wont stick. got mine from speedwerx.

PM or email ronniehotdog,hater or myself(1100Cat canadian dealer for xxxmodrods.com) for vents that are quality and work. You can view all the vent kits for all differerent sleds at xxxmodrods.com(ronniehotdog/hater).

You can get them from Cutler's and they work great as long as you clean the surface first. Once stuck, these things do not want to come off!:eek:

Can you buy just the ones for the nose cone? If so, how resistant to trees and bushes are they (incase you have to take a hairy line)

Yes, you can buy just the ones on the nose. Saw a guy last year take out his bumper and hood with a tree and about the only thing left was the frogskins holding it together. They seem to hold up very well in the trees and the great thing about them is if you happen to rip one, just warm them up, peel off and replace. Very inexpensive fix. Instead of cutting the entire vent area out, I always hole saw or drill the area and then you don't seem to lose any strength. Much harder to stab a hole in the nose cone for example if the area is honeycombed rather than having the entire area cut out.

They hold up pretty good for being so thin. I have a couple holes in the nose cone air intake ones from a long season of tree bashin! Lost the sled into a few tree holes too, and thought they would for sure be destroyed. They are cool vents!
