Friday riding?.

I might be riding Buf. I need a day or two to see how free I am. I live in Walden.
Prolly leave Ktown around 8am.
Do you have the goods, beacon, probe, knowledge? No offense, kinda been the standard we hold. Nobody up there thought avy danger was ever gonna be a factor. Then that kid died. Mindsets got changed fast.
If I get get caught in one, I want my as$ found and if a rider in my group gets caught, I wanna find his as$. I do not want to try and to explain to his wife or kids what went wrong.

Yes I do, but Best knowledge I have is I stay away from the hills. Don't need to see if I could climb one just to slide down it. Not worth it and not much fun to me to hold the throttle to the bar in a straight line..no offense but if ur in to that then i dont want to ride with you....Plenty of snow and fun to have in powder on the flat....
No, but there are plenty of little hills, steep tho, that you have to ride on/by to go where we go. As for flats, no, not really but we play in trees, parks, meadows, etc... I like dropping and jumping but this year we are playing it safer by not hitting the big climbs on North Buff. And after watching that Cameron Pass vid we now know that a 30' long cut can let go and bury you.

Sure a slab could let go as my truck is going over cameron pass and get buried but stuff happens. Nothin u could do about that. Cutting a line thru a slope is increasing the chance it will let loose. So I would rather not. Dont think we should just start being smart or pay attention this year, should be Always. Video was nothing new, just an eye opener.

Powder is deep and we are going tomorrow. Should be a lot of fun before the weekend crowd. We try to leave Walden at 9. (One of us has to get the cows fed before he can go). If you still want to go, PM me your # and I'll call tonight.
I'll be there on saturday. Beacon probe shovel equipped. Any takers? Prob will leave out of the RE lot that is back off the road kinda hidden in the trees. Cant remember what its called
