Friend had one in high school. He's about 5ft 8 and I'm 6'5. He picked it up after a season or 2 of riding. At my height I found it very difficult as it is very much balance control and for tall people its even more fidgity with any slight movement. Totally different from a sit down ski or snowmobile. I'd say it's more like riding a narrow skate board or snowboard or watersking with a mono ski. Nothing like snowmobiling.

I have sit down jet ski's and one standup ski, the stand up is much funner to ride, but is one heck of a workout. 10-15 minutes and I'm done for a while. Less than that if I ride hard. On a hot summer day, crashin feels pretty good, a dip in some nice cool water really cools you off. The stand up is similar to riding a sled in deep powder. The handlebar kinda determines the direction you go, but not near as much as your body language does.

Try one, you can usually pick a up a decent ski for $1k, if you don't like it you're not gonna loss much $$.

GET IT and you won't look back. I currently have two standups 92kaw 750 sx with many mods. The 99 kaw sxi pro is all stock and works great for me I'm 6'4 220 and i pushes me 49.7 mph GPS. It takes alot of practice, but don't give up, they are way more fun than any couch. Go to pwctoday.com for all the information you will need.

isn't that what banks are for? :beer;:)

Geno, may I recommend the SeaDoo RXPx 255 horses. An intake mod and you are in the mid seventies! Wait a few months for the hop up parts you can add, and you get to the high seventies....
