Looks like spot got rid of their good airtime plans, they had a similar rebate when they released it but it also required a costly plan, I paid for 120min of talk time per year for a few hundred bucks

I'm still on Globalstar and have been since 2005.
Their loyalty program kept me at 49.00 a month with unlimited airtime.
I'm glad I stuck with them through the bad times when you had to wait for a satellite to make a call,now their service is great.

I woukdnt go back to a spot, I had bad luck with service, sat phone has paid for itself multiple times, makes remote problems a lot easier to deal with and my first day with it, our sno cat blew up and it turned an 8 hr ordeal into a 2 hr tow job just by being able to make calls and communicate properly
