Free Play in steering...

What has everyone doing to stop the slop in a worn out steering system. I have about 1/2 inch to an inch at the end of the bar. Seems to be coming from the interface of steering column and frame ( Thermo Plastic Clamps )

Anyone have any slick solutions that are options to buying all OEM parts?

What are they made off ?

Do they completely eliminate play ?

Have put in price request will let ya know in a day or two , they will take out play but you also need to check hymen joints ( not sure spelling ) they wear and add to the slack you feel . Their made of an oillite composite that wears far better than plain ol nylon !
