Free Lunch in McCall March 16

Howdy,

The Carl Struthers Memorial ride will be done a different way this year. The family will be sponsoring a free lunch. The lunch will be Sunday March 16 on the east side of Brundage Reservoir, just north of McCall.

Burgers, Dogs, drinks, bonfire, buddies, and "door prizes" will all be there from 11:00 am to about 2:30 PM. There might (hint hint) be some 2009 buggies to test ride.

Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go towards the McCall Youth Hockey Program, of which my son is a proud member.

I can pretty much GUARANTEE the trails will be preemo!!!!!!!!

Please rsvp on this thread if you think you can make it!!!!

Sounds like fun... We will try to make it. The cabin is just north of Goose lake and as I understand it, this is at Brundage Res. I think the junction letter is "V" from the trail maps. There was a big function a few years ago at the same place and it turned out fun. Doug... correct me if I'm wrong.:beer;

Come join us on Sunday for the BBQ on Brundage Resevior. Get a chance to ride some of our 08' project sleds and we should have an 09' Dragon to check out.

firewood is already there. its just tamarack wood, but in a pinch, it seems to work......

lots of food on the way.

I've been told that demos so folks can compare a stock buggy to a piped 800, 840, and 860 will be there.

toby "WONDERBOY" ashley will take the kiddies/newbies out and teach them to sidehill, and rumor has it Jack is gonna lead the more senior riders around on a ride of slab butte.

I'm really looking forward to this. Shoudl be a great time.

Also, contrary to our local newsrags report, the ride is on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY, not saturday.

Joined in on the "Fun Run" today and had a great time. Have a group of 8 to 10 people lined up for tomorrow for a ride up to Brundage Res. for the barbecue. Looking forward to it.

it was great!!!

a lot of folks showed up, more then expected, but at end of day still had food left over!!!

Great to meet a bunch of you in person!!!

I ride an old school ported 800 big block with 159 track and single pipe. I was SHOCKED at how strong the 09 dragon was bone stock out of hte box. Rides great, new sway bar, pulls HARD.

The 840 and 860 are just flat unreal. I poked fun when someone compared them to old school 910's, but I'm eating my words now. Those things flat rock.

A die hard ski doo buddy has an 07 rev wiht a bunch of work done to it. he hopped onto the 09 demo buggy, and came back saying "Now that is how an 800 SHOULD run!!!!"

I think he's gonna snowcheck an 09...........

Thanks all for the donations!!! We're still counting the money up, but it looks like a huge success for the kids in hte hockey program!
Thanks very much to the Struthers and Ashley families for putting this on, and to Carl's Cycle Sales!!!!
