Francs Peak in the Absaroka Range!

Hey guys! Wondering if anyone has ridden (or heard of anyone that has tried) up to Francs Peak above Meeteetse, WY via Phelps Mountain? Looks like there are some huge bowls and drainages from looking at Google Earth...if there's enough snow!

I've been to Kirwin up the Wood River and those are some big mountains and amazing country. I imagine the hardest part would be getting close enough to the mountain to drop the sleds and take off. I'd love to hear your stories and see any pics!

The majority of the range is, but everything north, east and south of Francs Peak is not wilderness. So the approach out of Meeteetse open. It could be some kind of special winter range area but it's not wilderness.

Anyone have any info on this?
