Fox Floats For The Nytro Mtx ***UPDATED***

Just received a new pair with part # 850-12-204.

Can anyone confirm if these are correct for the Nytro Mtx application? Reading through the instructions (I know, I know...we don't need no stinkin' instructions) it says they are 16.5" extended and have 4.70" of travel.

Please help ease my mind...

***After spending 3 hours this morning trying to figure this out...here is the conclusion: Fox does not make a replacement or AFTERMARKET shock for the Nytro Mtx/Rtx/... yet. The RTX FLoat is OE (original equipment) only. The solution is to use the RX1 Fox Float. It is 17.6" CTC and 5.2" of travel. This will be very similar to the stock size and travel until an official shock is released. The part number for the RX1 shock is 850-12-005. Hope this will save someone time down the road.

Apex shoxks are shorter. RTX shocks fit purrfect.

If Anyone wants a set of 16.5" floats they are like new of my RX1
1 season on them with shock skins no chips at all.

First $400 takes them.

So the RTX Floats fit the MTX? Do the RX-1 (short track) Floats fit as well? I have a set of RX-1/Apex (mountain) Floats but they will be too short, right?

Apex mountain floats are 15 1/2 ctc. They will not work!

i have an RTX er and i dont like the fox floats all that much and also i cant rebuild them myslef and possibly looking at olains all around and i might have all my back shocks up for sale there dual shock pros(clickers)

The Floats I have are of a RTX ( checked part #) the first $350 + shipping will take them. I also have stock Phazer / Rx1 and a set of 0 pro shocks out of my holz skid( gone to floats)
